Hot Rolled Steel Sheet General Introduction:
Steel plates are types of flat steels that can be cut and welded into finer products. As the high-temperature steel is rolled into a plate, the strength of the steel plate is given. Layer upon layer of steel is compressed and forged into a piece of steel until it reaches the appropriate dimensions. They are often used to reinforce foundations and support heavy items, such as bridges. At the same time, this material provides an important foundation for building larger structures and non-machinable parts. Carbon steel plate: Carbon steel is carbon steel with a carbon content of less than 0.8%. This steel contains less sulfur, phosphorus and non-metallic inclusions than carbon structural steel, and has better mechanical properties. Carbon steel can be divided into three categories according to the carbon content: low carbon steel (C≤0.25%), medium carbon steel(C is 0.25-0.6%) and high carbon steel (C>0.6%).Hot rolled carbon steel plate are produced with a highly adaptable manufacturing process.
Carbon Steel Plate Features:

What is difference between HR and CR Plate ?
The main difference between hot rolled steel and cold rolled steel is the temperature at which they are processed. Hot rolled steel is rolled above the material's recrystallization temperature, whereas cold rolled steel is rolled below the material's recrystallization temperature.
